Hello again, phew, I can’t believe how quick today has gone!!Its been a mad one.  We have had a delivery today of some canvasses with beaches, boats and life buoys, we haven’t had chance to take images yet I’m still trying to sort out this camera milarkey give me time, give me time.  We also had some cool beach hut style photoframes, fish photoframes and whitewashed fish mirrors along with some lovely blue fish hooks and matching photoframes.  By the time our customers had been served and that delivery was unpacked it was time for home, we got sidetracked and ended up in Fresh East again.  I saw Mishca and Floss again tonight on their way to the beach but I stayed in and chilled by the fire with all floss’s toys hehe I’m always up to mischief when I’m up in Fresh East it’s great fun! Anyway it is late and I’m sleepy so I will be back tomorrow with more news from The Beach Hut Boutique

So I have brought you up to speed with the shop side of things, now what else do you want to know? Who is behind The Beach Hut Boutique??? They are my owners Jem and Tom, they have had a busy year!! In March they got an AWESOME dog, In May moved house.  In October got married.  In November launched the website.  In December had a chilled christmas.  In January renovated the shop.  In february went snowboarding (no injuries PHEW!) and at the moment they are spell checking my blog, which is harder than you would think because typing with paws!Not easy!!

So anyway Jem seems to be the brains and Tom seems to be the brawn!I don’t know if Tom would be too pleased with that but thats the way it works from my point of view! Jem has a love of everything art and craft and is constantly on the lookout for new companies and artists work that would work in the shop and Tom is constantly making all the alterations and decorating etc as well as his normal job!! He is a busy bee.  Its a family run business generally but they employ some cool staff on saturdays and holidays (pictures may find their way onto my blog at some point if I can catch them in their best light hehe!) So thats it from me for today a guy doesn’t want to give too much away in one day, but I will be back with news, photos and product reviews very soon so stay with me!Im off to Fresh East for a walk now, its one of my favourite places, two of my friends Floss and Mishca live their so we just chill when the suns out, you will meet more of my mates as time goes on, I have a new one called Marvin, he’s small but brave, but in a few months he’s going to be huge I’m sure!  You should see the paws on him!!  Anyway later skater!!

Yesterday was the first day of my blog for The Beach Hut Boutique but I was busy so this is the first time I have had time to tell you who I am and what my blog is going to be all about!!  As I have said I am Riley, I am one on (please note, all birthday wishes gratefully received!) 22nd March 2009 and I am the The Beach Hut Boutique springer spaniel mascot, they did start without me but when I arrived the third week of May last year I stirred the company up a bit!!!!

Yesterday I was promoted from just bog standard mascot to BLOG standard mascot and my job is to keep you up to date with what has been happening at The Beach Hut Boutique recently! I will keep you updated on the new products as and when they arrive, will tell you about what the staff have been up to and I will keep you posted with what I have been up to lately too (Last week Jem and Tom were away and I tried to swim to France, didn’t make it outside the cliffs at Fresh East but that was enough to give Jay and the others on the beach a fright!Haha got you guys, I was always coming back the foods to good to leave!)

Quite a long blog today because it’s my first one and I have 16 months to fill you in on, when I was born last March they brought me up to speed with the facts. The Beach Hut Boutique opened in the downstairs of Boarders Inc @ Waves ‘N’ Wheels Pembroke in October 2007, It all went well before christmas so expanded to take over half of the surf shop floor in January, we had a busy summer but stayed put and started the ball rolling for The Beach Hut Boutique ONLINE!!! Then another busy run up to christmas and BOOM more work, the UPSTAIRS has been renovated and there is now a new look Beach Hut Boutique!! And there we are in a nutshell up to date with the development of The Beach Hut Boutique and the website www.thebeachhutboutique.co.uk I am told that without our friends and customers we wouldn’t be here so thanks guys, its all down to you!!!
